Palma AquariuM
Since 2007, Palma Aquarium has been offering families and ocean lovers an experience like no other on the island of Mallorca. There are fabulous underwater viewing opportunities and outdoor and indoor pools housing a huge variety of marine life. Hidden away in the cavernous basement is Debora and her conservation team who run the Palma Aquarium Foundation saving the lives of marine mammals in need of help – often turtles caught in fishing nets – and developing conservation projects and educating future generations of marine conservators. Turtle Clips supports their work by donating 10% of our annual profit and we are proud to say our Turtle Clips are available in the Aquarium shop.
Barefoot Boy
With a very similar back story to Turtle Clips, Barefoot Boy was born from a mum contemplating her precious son’s desire to live a barefoot life. From this grew a clothing range sold online and from their store on the beautiful Salcombe seafront. Their hoodies and tees are not just covetable but are ethically produced and designed for every beach and ocean adventure just like our Turtle Clips. Because, let’s face it, a UK beach holiday needs flip flops one minute and a hoodie the next!
Mallorca SUP
After moving full time to Mallorca, Hannah started taking paddle boarders of all levels on guided tours of the gorgeous bay of Pollensa and hasn’t looked back! Her SUP safaris are highly rated and her photography skills are excellent too! What’s more, Mallorca SUP is passionate about the ocean and ocean conservation. Hannah says “We are on the frontline in the battle against plastic pollution. We are witnesses to the over consumption, overfishing, the dark side of tourism, as well as the impact of global warming”. A girl after our own heart, Hannah regularly organises beach cleans in the area and will save and house any animal in need, including a baby hedgehog found on the road recently!
Love Brand & Co
A visit to this Notting Hill store is a must for any beach lover. Just walking under the deck-chair striped awning is enough to brighten a dull London day! Founders Oliver and Rose have been exporting their easy-breezy island style to London and the world for over a decade. With family ties to The Bahamas, in 2010 they established the brand as a portal to island living, creating an authority in resort wear for the discerning traveller. The couple and their family live between the UK and The Bahamas and they draw inspiration from the islands for the collections as well as the names of their products.
Sandersons
Started in 2016 by husband and wife team, Mark and Deborah, this was Deborah’s brainchild. Her vision was an independent, boutique department store stocking gorgeous brands and offering exceptional customer service and knowledge of merchandise. The Stroud store was opened in 2021 in the purpose-built Five Valleys Shopping Centre and Turtle Clips is privileged to be allowed to use their beautiful vintage flower cart as our seasonal stand serving visitors from all over the West Country and beyond.

It’s an Aladdin’s cave of boho fashion, beautiful accessories, island souvenirs and wonderful holiday keep sakes. Owner Leticia explained to us that ocean conservation has been a huge part of her life having studied marine biology. This led her to work in Mar De Plata Aquarium as a guide, as well as cleaning the many penguins that were rescued and brought in covered in oil.
